Renata Novakova

Renata Novakova has been active as a university teacher for more than 19 years. She is the co-author of several study programmes focused on the branch of production quality. She actively participates in the boards for final state examination either as the chairwoman or member of the board. In her research and scientific activities she participates in solving domestic and foreign grant tasks, e.g. the 6th and 7th EC Framework Programme, AC CENTROPE grant, AUTOMOTIVE Cluster, IDEP, TEMPUS, KEGA, VEGA, etc.

She is the editor-in-chief of the international online magazine Economy & Business published in Bulgaria and a member of the scientific board of the INTERCATHEDRA magazine published in Poland. She also works as a member in the General Assembly and Executive Board of the international association WoodEMA seated in Zagreb and in the European Association for the Transfer of Technologies Innovation and Industrial Information seated in Luxembourg. She is a collective member of the Slovak Association for Quality in Slovakia and she has been awarded a prize for participating in the National Award for Quality in Slovakia in 2014. In 2011 she got the certificate for completing the CAF training course - External feedback and a foreign certificate „Human potential management in company“ in Poland.

At present she works as a CAF model methodologist at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava. She actively presents her scientific work on domestic and international foreign conferences. Among the most important we could mention the conference in Australia, China, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Macedonia, Russia, Slovenia and conferences organized by the EOQ – Croatia, Israel, Hungary, Turkey and Estonia. She is the author of several monographs and textbooks on quality management.


Quality management as part Smart policies of the region, alias the new mindset in public administration.

The term mindset we will introduce awwareness of relationships and contexts that are characterized by dynamism and regulation. This change in thinking must to occur in the implementation quality management in public administration. The aim of this paper is to present own experience and proposals in the implementation Smart policy on level of public administration in the context of the use of the principles of quality management and in the context of new trends in this area
